One of our key strengths is taking your product idea and from nothing working with you to create the operating software for that product or service.  Most of this work is confidential and can only be summarised however, the following list shows some of the areas we have delivered working prototypes or finished systems:

 

  • We have written the control software for an intelligent spare parts and consumables vending machine.  This is a touch screen device running Windows 7 and using IIS.  Communication with the hardware to operate and control the machine mechanically is via a PLC.  The machine is part of a suite of devices that drive down costs within an organisation.  Our client is a leading MRO supplier in the North East planning to grow and expand throughout Europe.

 

  • Working with a North-East based business that received innovation funding to drive the project, Ascari worked with the client to develop a Proof of Concept tablet PC application that will allow the older generation to be more engaged with technology.

 

  • Another client using innovation funding have developed some very innovative technology for the biosciences sector.  From a very basic brief Ascari have developed software running on a Windows 7 device to control the setup and operation of this very unique device.  The proof of concept software has become the "Version 1" of the release to customers.

Reporting and Analysis

Ascari provide a powerful analytical portal product based on a Microsoft SharePoint foundation.

 

The portal provides high performance data analysis especially suited for massive data volumes including parametric test or to collect data from anywhere in your organisation to calculate OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) or report on other Key Performance Indicators.
