Ascari's Operational Portal based on a Microsoft Sharepoint foundation has been designed for organisations that require knowledge not only of what is happening in the design and manufacturing process but also what is happening in some of the wider business processes like Sales, Marketing and Customer Management.  It should be noted that our solution is not ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or MES (Manufacturing Execution) but a collaborative environment that can, if required, be quickly configured to provide a wide set of functionality to support businesses that are research and design-only, perhaps have a small low-volume manufacturing capability or use the contract or outsourced manufacturing model.
